Garry Kupalba, deputy defence minister of Abkhazia claims that it shot down the Georgian UAV with its L-39 jet when Georgia violated its airspace.


I wonder why no news source is mentioning a Georgian accusation from a several months ago that Russia shot missiles in to its territory.

Because they, for the most part, don't give a rat's about the Russian / Eastern European situation because most of them are pro-American. Mainstream journalism doesn't want to upset the carefully emergent "No, really, America is the bad guy!" story.
