Amusing for the great divergence in uses that has overcome Haskell vs Lisp since. Much as I love Haskell, it's not an industrial language and the main drivers of it have no intention for it to be, despite having been used industrially in some cases, while Lisp has become a very industrial language.
It would be interesting to get the original authors' views now.

I'm curious what you mean, not an industrial language? About the only thing I can think of that it lacks is an easy on-ramp.
